Regions of Leonida → Ambrosia

Ambrosia collectibles

Ambrosia is a blue-collar town inland: an oil refinery, bikers, highways and farmland around it. Large in area, thin in markers, and the difficulty here is distance rather than searching.

checkable facts forecast, not fact
There is no item list on this page yet, and that is deliberate. Nobody has exact coordinates before 19 November: there is no PC version at launch, so nobody is unpacking the game files. Everything below about GTA 5 and RDR 2 is checkable fact. Everything about GTA 6 is inference about how it will be built, not about what will actually be there. The map fills up from day one, every marker with a link to its source.

What is known

Rockstar describes Ambrosia as a refinery town run by biker gangs. Around it, going by the trailers, are fields, barns, roadside diners and long straight highways.

Rockstar's rural country is where rare vehicles live. In GTA 5 the unique cars sat by abandoned farms and on dirt roads, not in the city. The reason is simple: on an empty road a rare car reads as a find. Expect the same here.

Where to look

Rural places from the earlier games:

Kind of placeExample from earlier gamesWhat makes it hard
Barns and silos Stashes in GTA 5 farm structures They look alike; easy to check the wrong one
Highway shoulders Rare vehicles by exits and lay-bys Not always there, often tied to the hour
Derelict buildings Mosaics and scraps in ruins Not marked on the map as anything
Fields and groves Peyote among the vegetation Lost in the texture; found only up close
Motels and gas stations Markers on roadside rooftops There is a way up, but only one

The practical point for Ambrosia: you come here on a route, not for a single marker. Distances between finds are longer than anywhere else in the state, and the order of the trip saves more time than precise coordinates.

What does not open straight away

What may keep part of the countryside closed:

Time of dayRare vehicles in GTA 5 often only spawned at night. By day the same spot is empty.
Story progressSome rural sets open after meeting the character behind them.
EquipmentA crowbar for locked structures, a helicopter for roadless stretches.
WeatherSome vehicle spawns in earlier games depended on the weather.

Orange depends on how far you have played. Blue depends on what you brought with you.

Using the map

The map can show Ambrosia alone — the other six regions drop away and progress is counted for this ground on its own.

Inside that view you can leave a single category on — rare vehicles, say — and get a ready route along the country roads instead of a map of everything at once.

What appears after launch

From 19 November this page will carry the Ambrosia item list with a counter, hints and a source link on every marker.

Until an item has been found in the game and backed by a link, it is not on the map. That matters most for rare vehicles: after launch there will be more rumours about secret cars than there are cars.
