When the data arrives

The pins on the map right now are demo entries. Real coordinates do not exist yet, here or anywhere else, because the game is not out. Everything circulating before launch is pieced together from trailers and old leaks, and has nothing to do with actual in-game stashes.

On 19 November I start adding real ones, as they get found and confirmed. The first weeks will be the busiest: that is when the community finds almost everything.

Who is behind this

I build this alone, in the evenings after work. My younger brother will help gather data during launch week. There is no team, no investor and no marketing department.

That is where the rules come from. No sign-up — progress lives in your browser, and I have no use for your email or a password. There is no cap on how much you can track, and there never will be: paid maps usually stop you at a hundred, which is the only reason people install extensions to get around them.

And I will flag unverified points honestly. In the first days most of them will be unverified, and pretending otherwise is the fastest way to lose your trust.

What I will be tracking

The real list only arrives after launch. But past Rockstar games make the shape of it fairly clear:

GTA V shipped with dozens of these sets, and clearing them blind took weeks. Leonida is roughly twice the size — without a map it turns into a job.

What is known about the game

The story unfolds in Leonida, a composite portrait of Florida: coastline, the Vice City metropolis, wetlands, resort islands and the small towns between them. There are two protagonists, Jason and Lucia. Only the single-player campaign ships at launch: Take-Two has said an online mode should not be expected at release, and there is no PC version at all yet.

For collectible hunters that is good news. With no online mode, pushing a save to full completion stays the main long-term activity in the game.
